Oil change on a 2012 Suzuki 9.9 hp outboard motor

I have drained the oil on this 2012 Suzuki 9.9 hp outboard motor. I understand to refill the motor oil, not gear oil, is to refill from the bottom up. I bought a couple of plastic oil pumps, but none of them seal perfectly on the drain hole, so all I have accomplished is a big mess. Do I fill from the top of the engine or the bottom?
I need some help, please.
 
You may need a metric adapter to fit in the lower drain hole to fill it,--------Always fill gear oil from bottom till it comes out the top.
