I have a 200HP 2.4 LITRE MARINER ( GREY, BLACK AND RED STRIPE) and I was trying to remove the tilt tube and replace it as the one in my motor is rusted out. I have the replacement tilt tube but I can't get the old tilt tube out?
Can anyone help me? How do I remove the old tilt tube out of the top of the tilt assembley? I have the end nut off and the threaded end is fairly short due to the rust issue. I can't get it to move or slide out? Am I missing something?
Any help I can get would be much appreciated.
