Volvo turbo 8041B diesel engine

I am looking to buy a Fairbanks Turbo Diesel 28 feet, 1988.
It has 2 diesel engines, the shop that sell the boat tell me that they are 8041B 4 cylinders.
Anyone familiar with ? Going for sea trial today or tomorrow, what should i look for ?
The mechanic that i trust is not available to come, it is on me.
 
"8041B 4 cylinders " ,,, that doesn't seem correct, got any other info?
41B is a diesel, with a turbo, but it is 6 cylinders.
31B is a diesel, with a turbo, it is 4 cylinders
The "80" doesn't make sense to me .
