I am looking at a 2004 Proline today, not sure the engine year (I assume 200-2004) but the compression on the left cylinders is 110 and the right 105. Is that 105 too low? PLEASE answer, I am going to look at this boat at 12:30. I am going to double check the compression when I get there but that's what I am told it is and already am thinking it may be too low. Thanks!!

You remove all the plugs at once to test?
Then if all are within 5# of each other then it should be OK.
I'm selling a 2001/225 Optimax to make sure it was ok to sell I did a comp test.
All cyl were within 5#
Left were 130/125/130 Right were 130/130/125.

I wouldn't worry about 5#
The actual poundage seems low but that's probably the gauge.
Your gauge might read different than mine.

The gauge is accurate, my current boat reads ~120 so I know it is good. Does that mean its too low to buy you think? I was always under the impression 105 was low

Ill have to ask him when I talk to him later. Would you recommend buying at 105? Whats my downside? Just trying to make sure I am making the right choice
