Fuel Filter question

hello i got a 90 model force 150hp on the right side of the motor i think it has 2 fuel pumps and on the cover it says fuel filter. Can anyone tell me if that is what i am looking for to replace the filter in that case? thanks sorry a newbie boat owner here, trying to learn alittle about them ..

You have a serial#? Your motor came with about 30 different variations.
Your motor came with 2 identical pumps. Pics?
The old style. Both had a screen under the black cover.
It's a simple remove and clean.
It's a simple thing to rebuild.
Do it while it's apart.
The new ones had no screen.

You might have a filter in the system.
It needs to be installed either before the pump(best) or between the pump and the carbs.

The one the factory installed is a POS. Put in a different one.
Walmart G-2 G-3 or G-12

Always include the serial# Year and model. If the sticker hasn't gone away.
