Lowrance LMS-350A Fish Finder Question

Hello Guys I just baught a used boat , and i have a question about this older model fish finder on here. The guy told me there was something wrong with it, it would beep to let you know it was on but it wouldn't show nothing on the screen. It looks to me that it got damaged bye the sun maybe. The screen is Black looking like it over heated, do anyone know if i could fix this, or would i be better off buying another one. thanks Mitch from GA

As with most things electronic, the technology is always changing and normally getting much better. I would opt for a new replacement.
