How to test for FIRE

Use an inline spark tester. Some models you can set the spark gap- set at 7/16 - 1/2". Some models use a zenon tube and are not adjustable.

Yes.

And if no high voltage, run the tests as I suggested in your previous post. An inexpensive ohm meter will tell you a lot.
