TAC Malfunction

I have a crusader 6.0 2006 Engine on a Mastercraft X45 and the it show the next errors:

(81) Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Malfunction
(81) TAC Fault- Not TAC Reply
(81) TAC Fault- Not Tracking.

I clean all the sensors, check all the wires and everything is perfect, hace anyone an Idea What´s happening??

Hi Enrique,

I don't know much about digital throttle control, but there is a 53 page manual supplement on this system that explains the codes and gives diagnostic procedures. It is available (free) from PleasureCraft, at www.pleasurecraft.com/manuals/L510005P-S1.pdf

Of course, if you don't have a digital throttle control, maybe the manual (or its parent manual) will tell you how to convince the MEFI-4B engine control that you are not using that feature.
