A simple process; seems confusing to me
My mechanic is going to do some work on my 2011 Honda BF225 (BAGJ-1601244).
My motor only has approx. 500 hours. It has been very reliable and the only concerns have been with the O2 sensor. The sensor was once replaced with a second sensor, and when it went bad again, Honda sent an O2 replacement kit consisting of O2sensor + partial manifold replacement + ECM computer flash to reset tolerances.
I am now going to have some routine maintenance performed and he has asked me to order the parts, and he will only charge me for labor. Sounds like a good deal, if I could only figure out which parts to order
Here is what I need.
1) A water pump kit
2) A pair of thermostats
3) Oil Filter (under the cowling)
4) Fuel Filter (under cowling)
5) Fuel/Water separator
Can an experienced Honda owner/dealer please figure out what part numbers I need to order from Marineengine.com?
Thanks in advance,
