Hello fellow enthusiasts

I am searching for a DEARBORN INTERCEPTOR MARINE engine for a 1960’s Arcangeli Super Jolly v8 speedboat I am restoring. The engine is a marine version based on the Ford Y-block 256, 272, 292, 312 from the 1950’s - 60’s.

Do you know anyone who:

A) have a Dearborn Marine Engine for sale ?
B) have a Ford Y-block I can convert into a marine version for sale ?
C) are experts finding / restoring such an engines or who have done it before ?

My experience with the engine is limited to what I have been able to piece together on the internet, so any of you with real experience with the engine are very very welcome to share your knowledge of what i need to be aware of when buying/restoring such an engine.

Here is a couple of pics of the boat it will be going in.

Anders,
did you ever find a Interceptor Marine Engine?

I have a Dearborn Interceptor 215hp (312") marine engine here in Stockholm.

-Anders

I have a 1961 Ford interceptor 292 still in the original Trojan f25 for sale. Let me know if you got one already. Nice work on the boat!
