1900sx chaparral. Fiberglass fuel tank?

Hi

just bought the boat it's a 1989.

just wondering if anybody knows if it's a fiberglass tank or metal or plastic.

Ayuh,.... The only way to know for Sure, is to follow the fuel lines to the tank, 'n Look,...

FYI..... If it does have a fiberglass gasoline fuel tank, note that these have been known to cause issues when E-10 gasoline is used.

The ethanol content disolves resin and carries certain elements in solution. When heated or combusted, it turns into a gooy substance that will cause problems.
Apparently even the RACOR fuel filter system will not capture it.

The intake valve to the left was subjected to E-10 gasoline.
