4 cylinder motor ID help

Hi everyone! New here, my name is Zack. I just bought a 1978 sea nymph with a 4 cylinder in it. I am looking to see if anyone can help me with identification of what kind of motor it is so I can look for parts if needed. Hope the pics work, Thanks!



 
Hi Zack. the only parts I can ID for sure is the thermostat housing/cover, and the rocker arm cover. Both are from an early 90s 3.0L Mercruiser. Can you post a photo of the exhaust manifold (port) side of the engine?
 
Ayuh,.... Looks like a late '60s, very early '70s 2.5l GM I4,....

It could be a 3.0l,...

Look at the front pulley,...
If it's Just a pulley, it's a 2.5l,....
If there's a harmonic balancer, it's a 3.0l,....
