Alpha 1 Gen II Gear oil running out of my drive leg

I have oil running out of my lower unit. I have removed the outdrive and split the unit from the top.
After pressure testing with water pump removed, air and a little residual oil was coming up the vertical drive shaft.
Can I undo the carrier assembly and simply replace the seals or does the whole assembly need overhauling?

Is this the part in the picture below you are referring to?

If so as Dr. said............

Replace the whole piece. Easier than trying to repair it.
