Drain bowls

I have a 125 force motor. I was told I need to loosen the bowls for the winter. Boating is new to me. How do I do this? I have no idea.
I ask because I am storing it for the winter. I already put fuel stabilizer in the tank.

No don't loosen the bowls.
Add Ethanol stabilizer and add Stabil to the fuel.
If you add a couple of ounces of outboard oil the additives won't hurt.
The Stabil will condition the fuel and allow it to set all winter without hurting anything.
The Ethanol conditioner will help with the problems Ethanol causes.
Don't drain the bowls, don't run the motor dry.
Change/ check the gear oil.
Possible there is water in the lower.
Water will freeze and possibly bust the casing.
 
Be sure to fog the motor before putting it away. Run the fog oil through the carb throats until it smokes good.
