    Default motorguide armature

I have a motorguide tour 82# TM that I need to replace the armature. I have the armature out of the center magnet housing. How do I get the front section off, the section with the white disk? I can get that section to move freely up and down the armature shaft but can't get it past the threaded portion of the armature shaft.
    thanks

Yup that did the trick. New armature installed.

I believe it should just slide right off probably just a burr on the shaft? Carefully wrap a piece of 220 grit around the end of the shaft and lightly turn the shaft and then follow up with some fine emery cloth. Do not force it off it should slide easily if you force it you can damage the shaft bushing/bearing in the cover.
