Can this BF50A be repaired ?

As I was cleaning up the boat today, I noticed a crack in the lower unit on the left side of the
prop housing.
Would this be repairable with J.B.Weld or would it need to be welded ?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Did you Hit something on the Prop ?How did it happened ? I dnt think so it can be weld. check gear oil may be water mix with oil,or any damage inside also.
