does a 1972 100 hp johnson fuel pump have a diaphragm in it,,,,if it does I cant find one

Yes it does and you can find one in the fuel repair kit for your engine

Never mind. I found them on I-Boats. BRP doesn't list them anymore as OMC did.

BRP lists many repair kits for fuel pumps.

i am told I have a External Pulse fuel pump what the heak is that,,,,also surface gap plug would that be good for my 72 100hp Johnson ,,,,HELP ME OUT JOE,,,,OR,RACERONE

Who called it -------external pusle pump ?-----------Or do they simply mean 3 hoses going to it.-----Nothing special at all as most of these pumps use the same diaphragm .-----That is about all that can go wrong with it.---------I would never buy a complete new pump for one of these motors.

Found out BRP only lists fuel pump repair kits for the newer motors, not the older ones as this one is. I-Boats has them for the older ones.
