hi can anyone tell me if i can swap the 40hp mercury long shaft leg onto a 50hp mercury short shaft because i,m having to much probs with the 40hp:confused::mad: any help please......phil
 
well it was just a thought that i have a short shaft merc and wanted to fit mid section from my 40 merc to it i will have a look at the serial numbers today thanks
