I'm having trouble trying to start my outboard idk what it needs to start it I think the carburetor on it messed up Wouk like some help

I've been to that site a ton if you look at it I'm missing like the inline mixture linkage and idk if that will help and should that little linkage on the carb help

I'll get new spark plugs and I think on the carb it can be the valves in it since there 2

feels like the pull rope has resistance and all that I think it's the carb really

The question is ---Do you have spark ?---------Spark must jump a 1/4 gap with a snap you can hear.---------Post results of that test !!!

how you test a spark plug because It has wrong sparks plugs on it and I'll get new ones tomorrow

it should have spark and all that but I'll be getting new spark plugs Suday I hope is anyone on here

Sorry , but you need to take the time to learn about doing a proper check of your ignition system !------It was designed and built to be able to jump a gap of 1/4" or more.----That is a true test of your ignition system.

it does because I started it on like 20 pulls and it dies on us so it got to be carb

so im doubting hey when you did your compression test you got started yours with a key

kimcrwb i got it started with carb spray and then it just dies so i need help making it just idle by itself and all that

I put the carb and choke cleaner for the carb so can it mess the carb up some and I'll try all that the fuel not that okd we put new mix in it and when I start it just dies also so Iput fuel mix in a spray and when I hit choke stuff just doesn't ooze out the carb
