Was going thru my rather large collection of carbs and to my surprise, I found a marine carb in the bunch ( see title ). It is apart but I believe it is complete ( I can assemble and verify this ). The carb looks good, clean, however, the bowl area has a thin coat of Marine Tex in it. The carb had some bowl corrosion, though it was just pitting, I media blasted and coated. Did this on many marine carbs back in the day. If anyone has an interest, just send me a PM. Thanks Rick

More specific.

Part numbers don't really help

2 bbl or 4 bbl
Rochester , holley..............?????

I'm reasonably sure that it is a Mercarb, and its a 2bbl......and if I remember correctly, it came off of an 80's era Chevy 305 in which I converted to a 4 bbl for one of my customers.

If it has only one air/fuel mixture screw it is a Mercarb.

Rochester 2 bbl.'s had TWO mixture screws.
