Hi guys
I was wondering if anyone could give me some direction on back flushing a 97 Mariner four cylinder 2 stroke. It's a 40 ELPTO sn OG515474. I have a new water pump on the way but some of the impeller blades were missing parts and I want to make sure the water jacket is clean. The schematic doesn't show a thermostat and I can't find any evidence of one so I can only assume it just has the temp sensor. How do I go about flushing the block to make sure there aren't any rubber chunks left? Thanks for any advice.
