My new to me 1984 Chrysler 360 (Marinette 28) appears to only be running cold. It is raw water cooled (open) and operating in Ohio rivers. It is at about 120-130 degrees at 1,200 rpm or so according to the engine temp gauge. When moving up on plane toward 3,000 rpm, the temp gauge actually drops down to around 110 degrees. I wonder if my thermostat is stuck open.
What temp thermostat is this year/model supposed to have?
Any other ideas?
