1977 Evinrude 25hp electric start

I just picked up a 25hp evinrude that i want to go thru and clean and tune. I have been looking for the timing pointer and i am wondering if it is missing. Can anyone tell me where the pointer is on the 1977 25 with electric start? I belive it to be the Type II CD with Sensor coil ignition. i see the marks on the flywheel just can not find the fixed pointer? I saw one in the selco book but it doesn't look like the same model and mine does not have that pointer.

I was wondering if that was it on the starter bracket It just didn't look accurate. Not much of a true pointer. more of fat line?

I tried to attach photo but had no luck at all.
