1997 dt85 not pissing! what can I do?

Hello out there. Brand new to this forum. Seems extremely helpful. I have a 1997 suzuki dt85. I bought it used and just recently installed it on my boat. I just started it for the first time. It cranked right up and ran great. The only problem is that im not seeing any water pissing out of the port. Any| suggestions?
 
Running on a hose ?------Running in a bucket with water at least 6" above the water pump ?--------You should alawats install a new impeller on a newly aquired motor.-----------Have you checked the hose to the water indicater ?----They often plug up.
 
I was running it on a hose with those water muffs. The only place I see where the water should be coming out is a small, square port on the back of the motor about 6 inches or so below the motor cover. Is that where I should be seeing water coming out?
