Yesterday I picked up a 1970 17' Starcraft Riviera with a 100 HP Merc. When the owner tried to start it it would crank and start as long as he would keep the key in the start position. When he would release it to the run position it would die like it was loosing spark or power. I'm thinking key switch but wanted to know what others may have found or ideas you may have. Thanks for all of your ideas and help.
