2 years after replacing the VRO for a leak on the oil side, I noticed more and more blue smoke and the oil usage was double. The engine ran good somehow but I was afraid the EPA would hunt me down! Upon disassembly of the VRO, the fuel diaphragm had a 1\4 inch hole in the flexible rubber. Repaired with a new diaphragm, tested VRO and returned to service.
