All of the sudden engine won't start, just clicks.

2008 Sky Supreme, V-drive, Black Scorpion 340. We were wakeboarding for about an hour and we stopped and started the engine a couple of times. There was plenty of gas, electronics working fine but we went to start it again and something it just clicking. From what I've read it's something with the starter but it usually pertained to older boats or those that hadn't been used in a while. How can I fix this? Sorry, not sure if this is the correct place for this question.

Haha, turns out it was just that the battery was almost dead so we finally drained it just enough that it wouldn't start. Put a little charge in and off we went.

Ayuh,..... Glad to hear it,.....

I was gonna suggest cleanin' all the wirin' connections from the battery, through to the starter, 'n the grounds,....
All connections should be Shiny metal Clean,....
