1988 Force new water pump works great then stops pumping on next start any know why

Does it overheat?
Or just stop pumping out the holes in the mid housing?

Install a pee tube. Top of the head is a silver plug.
Remove it and install an elbow and a piece of hose.
You'll need to drill a hole in the lower cover.

The 88 was set up with a pressure relief system.
IF??? If it's still working?????? The system might be staying closed and all the water is exiting through the snout???

Like I said, install a pee tube and see if it's really stopped?????
