omc power tilt problem

i have a 1987 glastron omc. the power tilt is giving me a big problem. I bought the boat and it didnt work. I tool a voltage meter all the way back and the switch is good the sylinoid is good I think because it clicks and I checked voltage on it as the switch was hit and it lights up every time. I think it might be the motor but im not exactly sure. there is no noise at all coming from it and when I opened the clutch pack it let out a little watery oil. I only took the drain plug out of the clutch and the fill and flushed it with lots of oil and sealed it back up. My main question is how do I install the trim motor and take it out? I can barely see the bolts and is this what I should do. one guy told me to look at the worm gear shaft where it meets the motor and sometimes they wear out. How do I see that gear. should I pull off the clutch pack wall with the four screws

You sure it's an 87?
I thought the OMC went to Cobra in 86.
The drive you describe is a 85 or older?
That said remove the motor and see if it's messed up.
Not hard to take apart.
If the worm gear was bad you'd hear the motor turning.
