2004 BF135 Internal Anode Replacement

After replacing internal anode and using Honda supplied O-ring I now have water leaks. There is a service bulletin about this. Can't find it. Anybody have information about this?

Help would be much appreciated
 
I do not know of any Service Bulletin on this. The 50 HP fuel injected had a notice to check for leaks there. Pull it back apart and make sure the surfaces are clean and not distorted. Lubricate the o ring and try again.

Spoke to Honda. There is a service bulletin, and there is a "kit" available. Consists of different cover, same o-ring
