    Hi norbert,
we set these engines to run between 600-700 idle rpm at the lehman plant. Any higher rpm may damage the transmission drive plate, any lower it may stall when shifted into gear.
Charlie w. P.s. Same for turbo.

    Thanks Charlie,
i have nearly 800 RPM- this is to much.
I fix this with the idle screw, ok, but i must fix also the idle dumper screw or not?

Hi norbert, yes backout the damper screw a few turns then set your idle speed, then slowly turn in the damper screw just to smooth out the idle. Do not raise the speed with the damper. Should be done with engine hot.
