What is this 8HP Honda outboard year/model?

Hello all, I have just bought an older 8HP Honda outboard. The motor s/n and model tag cannot be found on it:(. Is there any way to find the model/year info for this ob? The number stamped on the block is BACF 1205763 or BACE 1205768. Any help would be appreciated very much.

It is probably BACE...

The model is BF8AM. It could be anywhere from a 1990 to 1997. They did not have model years at that time.
