40hp Johnson w/ power tilt stuck in down position ?

Hi everyone! I need to tow my boat and My motor is stuck in the down position , I've released the pressure in the reservoir and she still doesn't lift. Is there a lock I don't see? The manual says nothing Thank you!

Hi , I unscrewed the tilt fill and empty screws , pressure came out I left it opened , and I still couldn't move the motor?

Check and see if you don't a manual release valve on that unit which will relieve the pressure in the tilt rams.

It has a manual release valve. That could be on the back or the side depending on model year. Model year ??
