1999 454 XLI 4Help with warning lite

I have a 33 Cary Blackfin Combi with 1999 454XLI TBI Crusaders. On the dash with the gauges is a warning busser that goes on for a couple of seconds and a warning light . When the engine is cranked the the warning goes out and then comes back on in about 10 to 15 seconds. All of the gauges look normal and the engine runs fine. Doea anyone have any idea what might be causing this. Again the oil pressure,water temp, and volt meter all read fine.The light stays off for 10 to 20 seconds after cranking engine then comes back on. Thanks Shaw

The light is turned on by the computer because it has detected something outside of normal operating limits on its engine. When one or more of these conditions is established, the computer stores some info and turns on the light. To find the anomoly, you'll need a scan tool for a marine engine.

It could be a simple as a corroded (bad) connector...
