1988 OMC Chevy 350 stalled

Have an '88 Four Winns with a 350 OMC Chevy. Carb was rebuilt runs great. Was cruising at about 3000-3500 rpms for about 10 mins.... dropped down for 5mph zone then went to get speed again and engine stalled. Didn't sputter, didn't make any noise, didn't smoke, didn't over heat. Just oil pressure dropped and it stalled out not to start again.......thoughts on this?
 
start with a compression test and look at the plugs for water. But so far all we have is an engine that stalled. Could be fuel or ignition. Check for fuel delivery to the carb and spark at the plugs.
