hi guys I got 5.8 omc motor on my 1991 chris craft 228 concept. I had starter and alternator rebuild for no crank and no charging. now my boat runs fine but alternator is charging over 16 volts and won't stop.....stupid me forgot how to hook it up right. The only thing I found was on one of the wires that are jumped together for both posts, when I put b+ to that wire the charging drops to 14.7 volts. Any ideas?
