Minor wiring issue

The tilt switch is on the throttle lever on my 87 150 evinrude. There is a white/brown wire and. Black /brown wire. Any idea where they are supposed to hook up?
 
those are the wrong color codes for trim circuits...are you talking about wires hooked up to the trim switch and you don't know where they go or wire out of the harness from the engine?are the controls older than 1987?
 
Trim wires are there, red/white, blue/white, green/white, Looks like the white/brown and black/brown go to the trim position indicator.
