Hi, I bought a circa 1970 Sears 3 hp outboard motor model #217 58540 with a broken connecting rod (ouch!) . The # stamped on the part is 1005-53 and I believe it is a Sears#, even though it was probably made by Eska or Tecumseh. Searsparts is out and says it is unavailable. Any sourcing new or used or cross-referencing help would be appreciated. thanks!
