I just acquired a Suzuki DT85 that looks very clean. I want to get it running and install it on my boat. I do not yet have controls for it. I want to start it without the controls so I can see if it runs before I fork out the money for a set of controls. Is it possible to start this engine without controls hooked up to it? I would install a kill wire to make sure I can shut it off. THanks in advance for your help.
