oil weights

if the engine requires 10-40......yes, it will. the bearing tolerance on a newer motor is very minimal and it needs the viscosity of a 10w when it initially starts up to to be able to lube the bearings. there is a HUGE difference between a 25 w and a 10w. change it out and put this correct viscosity in. (normally you would use an oil like this if you have really worn bearings).
