I left the key on (Grandson) for about 6 days without knowing it. Battery would not turn over the engine and PT/T would not work.
Recharged battery (attempted to) with the battery failing to take and hold a charge. Exchanged battery, installed new battery and no worko again....Checked all fuses, found fuse box on starboard side of engine. Saw the main fuse, 50 AMP, was blown. No extra fuse on the engine so bought two new one. Did I say they were expensive...Here is my question/questions: Could leaving the ignition on for a prolonged period of time cause the fuse to blow? Did I possibly touch something when I took the bad battery out and put the good one in that could have blown the fuse? Thanks ahead of time for your information and patience...
