Ok so I rebuild the lower unit cuz all the seals and bearings were shot. Put it all back together and it don't shift. reverse works but cant just grab shaft and pull on it and it out of gear again. Thy all this with the lower unit off so it has nothing to do with the controls or cables. It seems like up to a half inch or more of shaft play so the pin in the shaft cant push the gear into place to engage into any gear properly PLEASE HELP
