Lower unit gear/clutch replacement help

1989 evinrude 60 hp 3cyl 2 stroke, need to replace the clutch dogs, and bother forward and reverse gears. Teeth are broken everywhere, shavings all over etc.

i have apart mostly, snap rings, bolts, just about everything off but I still can't seem to get the prop shaft out. I took the nut off the bottom of the driveshaft that holds the gear in place, the gear is loose and it's sitting in place the drive shaft slid out after that. Prop shaft still feels like I'm missing something.

From what I see #20 is mostly held in place via gears and clutch parts. Am I missing something? Does someone have a very good walk thru or instructions on replacing the gears and clutch parts for this model?

You have to push the shift rod down so #9 will go down to clear the housing.

and unscrew and remove rod asyou bring #5 out as a assembly...
