2004 3.0L 181 mercruiser.....i need to replace the SS fuel line from the pump to the carb, but i have noticed the part seems to be obsolete...now when i google part # [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, Veranda]861304 1 i keep getting a different looking part with the same looking fittings but with shielded rubber body....nothing actually says "this is the replacement for that" the new part numer has a 32 in front 32-861304 1 ??? any thoughts P.S. to embarrassed to tell you why i need to replace it in the first place!! @ kimcrwbr1 ...i get it and totally agree...just trying to figure cost/time analysis. I have access to a flaring kit and have a cheap bender..would have to acquire some SS tube unless you think copper would work... i use to use copper all the time on motorcycles and hotrods mostly for show though??

steel brake line, not copper. All ends are "double flared" not single flare. Buy a length of steel line an you already have one side done.
