BF90 will not drop into reverse

Help! after changing the impeller I put the leg back together, replaced the gear oil and all was good for couple hours. The shifter suddenly would not go into reverse. It works fine in forward and will shift to neutral. Dropping the leg again and manually checking the shift rod by turning it left and right it will not shift fully clockwise (reverse). What to do?
 
after drop down the gear box try to shift manually, while turning shifter turn the drive shaft also. still its hard to shift or not shifting at all to revers something wrong with gear inside,open oil and check.
