1989 of 5.7 Tach jumping at 1/2 throttle and loses power

Since tach sig comes from coil, I'd begin by being sure the connections there are clean and tight. As you might imagine a poorly performing coil will affect power.
 
and a faulty tach can also affect ignition, so you can try a run with the tach (usually a grey wire) disconnected from the ign. coil
