I've had this 14' aluminum boat for 6 years now but it's been not in use for the past 3-4 years. I did some work to the motor as in new plugs, new gear oil and gas treatment. Was running really rough but I think I got it to run good but my problem is that it doesn't seem to go as fast as it did before. It doesn't plane out and only seems to go half as fast as it should. I don't remember how it use to go but by watching other boats same size even smaller they seem to much faster.
Is there something that would cause it to have low speed maybe prop? Or could there be a problem with the hub. I need direction please help.
