Volvo Penta 8.1L salt water pump shaking

The salt water (raw Water) pump on my 8.1L Volvo Penta I/O shake quite a bit when the engine is running. It is mounted on the crankshaft harmonic damper pulley. Has anyone experienced this problem?
 
Your pump is not centered on the balancer. The balancer pulley has two raised dimples on it that the pump settles into. You have the pump riding on TOP of these dimples. Take it off and locate the pump holes over the top of the dimples. Take the pump off and you'll see what I'm talking about.
 
Gary is correct. The raised dowel areas index the pump flange.
