Hi all,
I have a 15hp gamefisher. I think mid 90s. When it's in neutral, I can spin the throttle all the way around. It won't rev up in neutral and then the throttle will go around and click, and then click again, until I've gone back to start. Once it's in forward it doesn't do that, and it revs up and runs like normal. I can see the throttle cable move where the tiller handle gears meet and it's like they stop spinning for a second, move past each other a notch and then keep turning, until all the way around. Is this a safety feature so that you can't rev it in neutral?
