Honda BF50 EFI - high temp. at gear shaft

Hello, i have a little question. Today i started my Honda BF 50 to go on a trip. After 5 minutes of idle i touched the gear case area and it feels very hot ( you can touch it but it feels hot ). The hotest zone was around the upper exhaust from front to back and lower. Please tell me if it's all right .
 
Of course that is the your exhaust outlet so even 2,3 min it gets hot. Did you start it in the water ?if the engine is in the water engine lower part will cool,Don;t worry about it. This engines got over heat protection system so no worry if its over heat alarm let you know it.
